With everything progressing quickly, I think it is time to let you know the inspirations I have had when developing my ideas on the cinematography I will use in the film. The 1995 film ‘Heat’, directed by Michael Mann can be argued to be a stereotypical noir gangster film. What make it stand out is the use of wide and telephoto lens to create a visual style to the film. A shown in this case study, the cinematography creates a particular mood in the film. Fundamentally this makes the film come across as stylish.

I want to approach my film in a similar way, to make my film world seem bigger than it would be if I used a similar emphasis on close ups as I have done on pervious films.

Toppled with this, I will be using a DSLR camera slider to stop my film seem as static as they have done in the past. As shown in this video, using a slider adds another element to a film, and if used correctly will make the film very stylish.
