Scouting

Several positive things have happened since the last blog post. Several drafts of the script for Megan have been done, each draft tightening the idea together. As well as this, two locations have been scouted. One is a Victorian Gothic Church, located in North Yorkshire. This location will be used as a backup in case the main location for the Gothic Chapel scene, Burringham, falls through.
The other is a shack at an allotment in the village I live at. This location is also near Tickhill Institute, the location for the restaurant scene, which is great as it helps reduce the time taken to travel between each location.

In a matter of days as well, I will be looking at another location that could be the urban ruin’s setting. The irradiated area in which the lead character Callum will sees flashes of his love Megan from the past. A big thank you for Dean Sills who has had a look at the photographs from these locations and agrees with me that they are very interesting. As co-producer, he has agreed to come along with me for my next location scout.
